Pavan Vadgama Berlin and New York City-based architectural designer with 6+ years of professional experience in housing collectives, adaptive reuse, and participatory design, and 2+ years of teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Contributed to public discourse through exhibitions, talks, and writings on materiality, built heritage, and multi-actant architectural forms. As a graduate of Princeton's Post-Professional Master of Architecture program, received the Suzanne Kolarik Underwood Prize and the SoA History and Theory Prize for research on multispecies urbanism and non-human agency in design. Awarded the Howard Crosby Butler Travel Fellowship for field research on water infrastructures and urban cowsheds in Ahmedabad, India. Earned a Master of Arts in Architecture from Berlin University of the Arts, with studies under Jean-Philippe Vassal, and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from UC Berkeley. Fluent in English and German, bringing a global perspective and interdisciplinary approach to material reuse systems and speculative spatial practices.
